Welcome, and congratulations on successfully completing your study programme with the University of London International Programmes. You can book now to attend one of two ceremonies held on the same day at the Barbican Centre in London.

Morning Ceremony


8.30am: Information desk opens for ticket collection.

Gown collection and photography opens. Please make your way to photography as soon as you have been gowned.

10.00am: Auditorium doors open for graduates and guests.

10.15am: All graduates to be seated in the Barbican Hall.

10.30am: All guests seated for a prompt 11.00am start.

11.00am: Ceremony begins.

12.30 – 1.15pm: Reception.

Afternoon Ceremony


1.00pm: Information desk opens for ticket collection.

Gown collection and photography opens. Please make your way to photography as soon as you have been gowned.

2.00pm: Auditorium doors open for graduates and guests.

2.15pm: All graduates to be seated in the Barbican Hall.

2.30pm: All guests seated for a prompt 3.00pm start.

3.00pm: Ceremony begins. 

4.30 – 5.30pm: Reception.


Evening Dinner

7.00pm till late: Formal Graduation Dinner at The Brewery, 52 Chiswell St London EC1Y 4SD. (Admission by ticket only).

The formal graduation dinner will be held at an historic Grade II Listed London venue, The Brewery. 

The brick walls and wooden beams of this quintessentially English building conjure up its 18th Century Origins.

Based in the heart of the City a minute’s walk from the graduation venue, the building has been serving Londoners since 1750 and is today one of the capital’s award winning venues.

The eclectic menus at The Brewery are heavily influenced by the global culinary experiences gained from working on events and at leading restaurants around the world. 

Join us for an unforgettable evening alongside academics, friends, family and fellow students as you celebrate your success.

Tickets:

Graduands, register your attendance and purchase tickets for your guests through the easy to use online registration and booking system. Your booking will be confirmed once payment has been received in full.

Graduation Ceremony

Graduand ceremony ticket: FREEGuest ceremony ticket: £50 each

Formal Evening Dinner

Graduand Dinner ticket: £75 eachGuest Dinner ticket: £75 each


Payment to be made at the end of the booking process.



Robing and Photography: 

Robing and photography is organised through our official providers Ede and Ravenscroft.

All graduates are required to wear University of London Academic dress in order to be presented at the ceremony. Anyone not wearing a University of London gown will not be presented.

Make sure you pre-order your academic dress from Ede and Ravenscroft in advance of the ceremony. Booking early will entitle you to a discounted price on your gown and ensure that you graduate in the correct attire.

Booking on the day will cost you more and availability cannot be guaranteed.

Whilst booking your gown you can also book professional photographs that will capture your graduation experience and provide lifelong memories.

Pre-order your graduation DVD

It’s the perfect way to relive the memories of your ceremony and to share your success with family and friends, especially those who cannot be there with you on the day.

You can now pre-order your DVD at the discounted price of £27 (all orders placed on the day will be charged at £30), as part of the booking process.
